One way Bartlett & West lives this value is through our charitable giving. Besides being the duty of all corporate citizens, giving back to the communities we serve is just the right thing to do.

While there is no shortage of worthy causes, Bartlett & West focuses our corporate giving in the following areas:

Education — It just makes good sense to support education, particularly considering the growing need for qualified technical people in our society. We fund scholarships at universities charged with developing the next generation of professionals to meet the challenges of our communities.

Arts — For Bartlett & West, art is infrastructure for the soul, and an integral element of what makes our communities livable and attractive to new businesses and new employees. We support organizations which promote the arts, including art museums, performing arts, theater groups, dance, and art education.

Health & Human Services — We feel it is our responsibility to answer our neighbors when they need help. We help organizations which promote health and health-related research such as the American Cancer Society, or provide services to people in need such as United Way, or which support children’s and teen’s development and activities, such as Boys’ Club, Girl Scouts and others.

Commitment to our communities is one of our biggest promises. The monetary help we provide is backed by our direct involvement in those benefiting organizations.

It is an honor to be asked and a pleasure to serve. We encourage our employees to take time out of their already hectic schedules to volunteer in their communities…making a difference in the lives of those in need. Our staff serve on community boards, arts organizations, economic development committees, and various community task forces.

Support means many things at Bartlett & West and to the communities where we work. As a professional organization, we are often called upon to provide leadership and guidance in support of many civic and municipal endeavors.
