Kanza Fire Industrial Park Topeka & Shawnee County, Kansas
In 2009, Bartlett & West was selected by GO Topeka, the economic development arm for the Topeka and Shawnee County Chambers of Commerce, to initiate a site investigation of three potential locations of 500-1,000 acres to be considered for the development of an innovative and flexible industrial/technology park to appeal to global leaders. Bartlett & West worked with an experienced team of consultants to thoroughly analyze three site development opportunities, select one site for the purpose of design development, and two design concepts to illustrate how the location can be constructed to attract global leaders in this market. The final report included a final rendering and 3D animated, fly-thru presentation and cost estimates for each phase of the required infrastructure.

Meredith V Warehouse Urbandale, Iowa
Bartlett & West worked closely our client to develop a layout that maximized the amount of building, parking and loading area within a seven acre site. This was accomplished while satisfying the City's requirements for greenspace, landscaping and storm water management. The storm water management on this site was designed as a regional facility to incorporate an adjacent 12 acre future development site owned by the same client. This design will minimize the effort required in future site plan approvals and will eliminate the need for storm water detention basins on the future development site.
