The purpose of this research was to provide a resource for public works professionals, offering insights into how their colleagues in the United States and Canada are using and supporting GIS. The report examines public works entities’ use of GIS, budgets, funding, resources, technical support, and other pertinent information.
The study also addresses the issues and plans of those public works entities not yet using GIS.
